He's a decent songwriterâ??better than other modern day hacks held up by some as being gifted (*cough*Conor Oberst*cough*)â??but I'm not convinced that he's a genius... even though quite a few artists who's music I listen to think he is.
It's interesting how much suffering people will put themselves and others through for the sake of art, and this film does a ban-up job showing both the ups and downs.
