Review of The Devil All the Time (2020) by Israelmh13 — 16 Sep 2020
A cruel tale that can very well may be a portrait of religion in real life, and that’s why critics will try to shut out this film. The roles of Pattinson, Skarsgård and Holland are awesome, this last guy surpassed all my expectations.
This film talks about delusions of humanity in necessity of identity and fulfillment, how people are so cruel to convince themselves that they are up to no good. People think they are attending God’s plan, but in reality they are just delusional, serving nor god or religion, just performing some fictional necessity inside them that instead of pleasing God, they are pleasing the devil all the time...
