A well shot film with great acting, but it's not enough. The film left me depressed, failing to deliver sense or meaning beyond the plain surface level takeaway. I judge films by how much I could recommend them, and how much fun I had watching them.
I can't recommend this movie, and while I enjoyed the performances, I don't relish in the visual portrayal of "evil exists". The narrative just meandered from here to there until the credits.
Blah.
