I have no idea what the critics are smoking. The Devil all the Time is a psychological thriller and masterpiece. I never knew what would happen next and it kept me on the edge of my seat! This is the only film I've ever watched that felt like a work of literature more than a film.
There were so many details that gave the world depth and made it feel believable. Not to mention the amazing performances by every one of the actors.
