Review of The Descendants (2011) by William K — 02 Jan 2013
A fun soap-opera for dysfunctional families with money. The setting in Hawaii fits like a glove. Everybody has money and takes nothing seriously. Not even the terminally injured mother around which the movie spins gets much attention.
This is Clooney's best, playing the role of comic victim. But it's not really Oscar-level material. Just fun.
