Review of The Descendants (2011) by Anirban M — 12 Feb 2013
Star Movies ( India ) is premiering this movie at 9 PM 23rd February and I strongly recommend watching this movie. The Flixter review is pretty good without giving away the main plot and the movie is quite unlike any movie I have watched so far.
I like those kind of movies where the main character is going along his life but then some events happen and these events shape the person and he grows as a person and becomes a much much better person because of these events. It kind of gives us hope that we could grow too. ( hopefully without these transformative events).
There is a small scene in the movie where George Clooney runs in his slippers to his wife's friend's house and that scene for lack of words is a very eye catching scene.
