Review of The Descendants (2011) by Roberto L — 28 Aug 2012
George Clooney smartly shows what a man has to deal with in a tight situation both personally and economically speaking.
Not going to spoil it for those of you that haven't seen the film, I recommend you to see it. The Descendants has the words "drama" wrote all over its title and to be honest it wasn't my personal favorite at the Oscars in any way. From my point of view this was the weakest link at the ceremony.
It's not a powerful drama like many other throughout history but it sure manages to keep you on your seat and show the decisions that can destroy or heal Matt King's life.
The Descendants is still an interesting drama that succeeds thanks to its funny script, strong performances by their leads Clooney and Woodley. Not the best drama out there but it will give you a lesson or two about compassion.
