Playing it nice and smooth, The Descendants is a great example of doing what should be done and not going over-the-top. Boosted by a well-written script and plot along with emotionally striking performances from George Clooney, Shailene Woodley and Judy Greer.
This movie is the prime of elegant filmmaking.
