Scorsese delivers a phenomenal crime/gangster film with one of the best ensembles ever put to screen. The story is rich, the characters are full of depth and the pacing is immensely gripping. It turns from a cat and mouse movie to a mystery movie to a psychological movie and does so in the most brilliant way possible.
