Review of The Delta Force (1986) by Giuseppe T — 19 Jan 2009
Starts off incredibly well with a gripping plane-hijack story with some very interesting twists and story elements. But by about halfway through it begins to suffer from a textbook case of Chuck Norris syndrome.
The main and most obvious symptom is a film which in the second half goes what is medically known as batshit cheesy. Lesser symptoms include hilariously over-the-top action, rocket-launching motorcycles, and the good guys celebrating by drinking Budweisers and singing "God Bless America".
