Review of The Defiant Ones (1958) by Not L — 14 Jul 2009
Amazing movie that shows how a white man learns that color is not skin deep and that the only way to learn is to dig deeper. Fairly one sided, showing that only the white man really benefitted from the trial as far as learning about social issues, but for the time it was a one sided mentality that needed to be addressed.
I would have given it 4 stars, but the laughing against the black at the end irked me in that it didn't fit at all.
