Review of The Deer Hunter (1978) by Samuel H — 11 Apr 2010
Michael Cimmino only great movie, Touching and emotional with some of the most memorable scenes. A fine display of filmaking. Especcailly if your gonna cast the greatest actor of our time Robert De Niro in his dominating peak of the 70's.
Emphatic performances by Mr De Niro and the great Christopher Walken. It is indeed an in depth example of how the infamous Vietnam war affected peoples lives and makes the movie an emotional end climax.
Great Movie.
