Review of The Deer Hunter (1978) by Nat G — 11 May 2010
I'm not sure on this film, I liked parts of it then other bits are just dull, it also goes on to long and the first hour, I was bored out of my mind. I can't see why this film won the best film Oscar, there is nothing special about this film, or maybe I'm missing something? I guess the reason people love this film is because of the acting, I must say that Christopher Walkin and Robert De Niro are great and the Russian Roulette scene's are jaw dropping.
I'm glad I have seen this film but to be honest I don't think I'll be grabbing it again too soon.
