Mostly filmed in Pennsylvania, but the scene where Robert De Niro tells John Cazale "Hey, don't mess with my boots!", and where they pretend to abandon John Cazale by the side of the road was filmed in the Cascade Mountains.
Hey, you didn't REALLY think Pennsylvania mountains were THAT steep, did you?
