Review of The Deer Hunter (1978) by Isaac H — 11 Sep 2012
Really a testament to kick-starting the careers of three titanic thespians: Walken, DeNiro, and Streep. Less about Vietnam than about the gripping values of a small Pennsylvania community and the reprecussions of the war.
Too long, and has issues with pacing, but overall, the Deer Hunter makes its mark.
