Good: outstanding actors and a real treat to see performances by the young de niro, streep and walken. in glorious high definition, no less!
Bad: its way too long. the first hour and a half is really boring. The coming home part after the war is kind of random and nonsensical.
Overall kind of boring. I find myself not caring about any of these characters. by the end, I was exhausted and i'm just glad its over.
