The Deer Hunter - One of the most luscious, satisfying three-course-meal I've ever had. Spanning to a big fat three hours, outstandingly it swallows you and is over before you know it. Wraps around you with a medium of strong characters, their inter-relationships, intense emotions and the after-effects of gruesome events which is progressed beautifully scene-after-scene giving us a sense of an inside experience in their world.
