Overall, I was a little let down by this movie. It seemed a little overlong and the first hour was very long and pretty boring. The second act in Vietnam is very good, and all the Russian roulette scenes are very intense.
De Niro and Walken are excellent here. I also enjoyed the ending, very sad and heartbreaking, but overall it fit very well. If this movie was shorter and had more scenes in Vietnam, it would truly be great to me.
Still is decent, but I think this movie aged a bit.
