Review of The Deep End of the Ocean (1999) by Angela E — 29 May 2007
Worth warching but doesn't much respect the book. They left out most of the important and significant scenes or just refered to them in the most meaningless way such as "Ben is teribly afraid of water." there was so much more to it but they never say anything else.
The three stars are for the great actors and little ben who's actor was especially perfectly picked seeing to the character of the book. He'd only have deserved more screen time and if repected the book he could have had.
This movie is rather sad-minded when the book is torture but still absolutely worth reading. I saw this movie on one Christmas day and it immidietly got me very much interested in the book.
