An intelligent espionage drama thriller whose tension and geniune emotional involvement were much stronger than I was expecting. extremely well directed and shot, but the highly impressive editing made it even better! the tone was expertly handled at every turn.
this is indeed smarter and more impacting than your average film. jessica chastain and helen mirren playing the same character in time periods thirty years apart were both superb.
