Review of The Deaths of Ian Stone (2008) by Dennis G — 09 Dec 2008
Simply horrible: once again the starting point is interesting and I have to say that despite the little budget the effects and the editing look "cool"... but what's beyond that? The story develops in a total stupid and "ramdom" way and visually this movie seems a patchwork of copy and paste. The "demons" are just equal to Harry Potter's evil creatures and suddenly they "turn into" the Sentinels of The Matrix... and of course there's also the must-have torture sequence like Saw/Hostel.
But the real torture is to arrive at the end of the movie, even though it's very short...
