Review of The Death of Superman (2019) by Bily T — 02 Oct 2018

The Death of Superman is a pretty good film, though if there's one major issue with it, you'll already know how the film will end since it's in the title of it, though that's just one little nitpick on the movie.

With it being part of DC's animated universe there is gonna be some times that things will be connected in some kind of way but since I haven't seen most of the movies in the animated universe, I can't really say much as I didn't get to know some of these characters, but I'm guessing they're alright in the past movies.

The movie's story is good, characters are pretty decent, the cast does a good job acting out the character they're portraying, the animation is good but a little off at time, the music is nicely done and fits their scenes and the action sequences are great.

Sometimes in the animation, the backgrounds seem odd looking like they didn't fit the location they're in or something on their body or face wasn't right, though this is on a direct to DVD budget.

My other issues I've already stated so there's no point bringing it up again, but other that those issues, the Death of Superman is an enjoyable film, however if you get emotional to sad endings then maybe have some tissues around you just in case.

I'll recommend this movie mainly to those who are fans of DC comics, Superman, animated films and superhero movies.

I give the Death of Superman a 7.5 out of 10, some little issues but it is a still pretty enjoyable film.
