Review of The Death of Superman (2019) by Maria C — 28 Jul 2018
I want to start this off by making clear that I really disliked the New52 run and wished the design of this movie was based on the current 'DC Universe' aka former 'Rebirth' instead.
That said however, this movie turned out surprisingly solid and very faithful to the comics, containing some cool eastereggs and throwbacks. My expectations were really low because I disliked the other New52 based animated movies ( JL:War, Throne of Atlantis etc ) naturaly with the sole exception of Flashpoint - which is like the prequel, and anyawy, I was pleasently surprised. Good movie. Recommend it.
