Review of The Death of Mr. Lazarescu (2005) by Sebastian D — 26 Nov 2008
How much do we care for our fellow human beings? Dante Remus Lazarescu's journey into death (and with a name like that he was surely born to die, though aren't we all?) suggests: very little, certainly not nearly enough.
Brilliant black humor and heart-wrenching tragedy combine in this best film of 2006.
