Review of The Dead Zone (1983) by Nicky T — 15 Dec 2009
This is my favourite David Cronenberg film and Stephen King adaptation. A brilliant blend of three stories with a fine performance by Walken. The central themes of loss and mutation mixed in with heart-felt emotion are wonderfully played out.
Similar to Cronenberg's "The Fly" (1986), this film also revolves around a tragic love-triangle story with a diseased man trying to come to terms with his condition - only this is far better.
