Review of The Dead Zone (1983) by Annick J — 13 Jan 2010
Must have enjoyed it years ago when I first saw this film, but on the latest outing, the storyline here felt a touch plodding and left me a little sleepy dispute Christoper Walken's senstive portrayal of a nerdy teacher injured in a road accident and wakes up five years later with psychic powers to see into the past, the present and the deadly future through a touch.
Strong performances all around and possibly David Cronenberg's most mainstream films.
