Review of The Dead Zone (1983) by Joe R — 20 Mar 2012
This was certainly a good movie, but in my opinion, could have been much better. It's my favorite Stephen King novel mostly because it's very character-driven. Unfortunately, the film tries to rely on shocks and scares despite the story not really asking for that kind of style.
This is not to say that Christopher Walken or Martin Sheen did a bad job; they both delivered solid performances.
