Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by Adam R — 01 Aug 2007

This is hard for me to rate. Here's why: The movie itself is amazingly well done. It was a realistic, dirty, terrifying snapshot of one of the more disgusting aspects of humanity. Any movie that leaves me physically sick/disturbed must have achieved its purpose.

For that - 4 stars. That said, I do not watch movies to feel realistically sad and frightened for the characters as if they were my own family. That's not entertainment for me, although I understand this genre is very popular.

This film was excellent and made me feel like crap. For that, I thank you/spit on your grave.
