When a lonesome caretaker discovers the brutalised and lifeless body of a young woman, it shakes the foundations of a once close-knit community to its very core. But the discovery of the body is just the beginning and a series of other, seemingly unrelated occurrences slowly converge to reveal how the tragic actions of the people who surrounded her eventually led to her savage murder.
