Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by Heidi H — 08 Jul 2008
Great acting! murphy gives one of her strongest performances ever. even though she's played similar parts before this one really stands out. I do believe that the fact that the storylines don't intertwine, however, is more hurtful than useful.
I felt it was more a ploy than an actual necessity, even though the story of the dead girl has to be told in a certain way. it just restricts the other plotlines dramatically, not really giving them a chance to grow.
but that's detail... the last few moments of the movie are solid gold.
