Review of The Dead (2010) by Ruben A — 04 Apr 2012
A good film. imram ahmad's (might be wrong) score is excellent. the film manages suspense and some scares. its shot with a grainy old school drive in flick feel to it. the acting was pretty good, except for the lead actor. I just didnt feel he was right for the role. he looked phoney. despite its plot it manages some teary scenes.
This film is obviously going to be a cult classic in many years to come, for that is its destiny...
You can tell what happens to daniel, and the people in the plane at the beginning of the film because it does a foreshadowing thing.
The gore effects are so-so, in some scenes its disgusting and cringe inducing, in others its pretty laughable.
