An otherwise disappointing film is saved by CGI-heavy action. Keanu Reeves does what he does best-act serious and inhuman-while a pre-Karate Kid Jaden Smith annoys us. The only similarity between this and the source material is the title.
And space locust destroy Giants Stadium. Really?
