One of my all-time favorites. It's very rare to for there to be a movie about aliens who are not here to form an insurrection and annihilate mankind. It's spiritual and universal themes take a very bold stance against the tensions of the Cold War.
This, I believe, may very well be a warning for the future of mankind.
