Review of The Day the Earth Caught Fire (1961) by Chad B — 09 Aug 2008
Very well made classic sci-fi movie regarding government cover-ups and the consequences of our quest for nuclear superiority during the Cold War era. You can start to see how nuclear testing has effects on our climate, to a slightly impractical degree, but it is quite impressive.
The relationship between the two main characters is interesting given the backdrop.
