:fresh: The Day of the Jackal is an exciting novel that had a wonderful and cared adaptation to the big screen reinforced by the Fred Zinnemann's direction. Edward Fox is great as the Jackal and the suspense is at the top.
The most important thing about this movie is that all the situations are completely believable and after 34 years the picture still entertains and captivates.
