Review of The Day of the Jackal (1973) by Scott K — 13 Jul 2007
Very well made action thriller at first I thought it was boring but after a few times thought was it one of the best thrillers of its time. Edward Fox does very well as the cool, suave and ruthless killer.
Like Fox`s quiet sniper rifle compared to the loud gatlin gun willis used in the jackal. Like the scene where fox is target practing and uses quieter methods to kill people like karate chopping his victims.
Overall well done film and suspensefull.
