A word of caution first: u need lots of patience for this 1973 flick..That said, this adaptation of a very famous novel by Frederick Forsyth is all about the details..it might be a story about as assassination attempt, but it isn't just shoot outs, personal drama, the why's and who's.
.rather, it is about the how's..assigned to shoot down the French President, this movie traces the planning and intricate detailing that goes into it, while at the same time following the police's attempt to track down the contract killer.
.how these two streams finally meet in the climax, makes up for an interesting ending.
