Review of The Darkness (2016) by Toby D — 11 May 2016
This was BAD. Imean really, really bad. It's obviously inspired by Poltergeist but offers very little of its own in terms of plot. This movie is literally Poltergeist with an autistic boy instead of Carol Anne.
The worst thing about it is the waste of serious talent. The actors, art director, cinematographer and lighting team did great work but the director and the editor sank the whole thing. It was like being high on oxy's and watching the Titanic sink.
Something horrible is happening but you can't take it seriously. Skip this.
