It was a very entertaining hour and a half and Idris Elba is very good. Was also nice to finally see Roland get to be a complete bad ass. However, the story feels rushed, they needed some breathing room and some more explanation.
Im fine with this being a sequel to the books and that they weren't aiming for a strict adaptation of The Gunslinger, but feels like a closer line would have been more satisfying.
