The greatest flaw of this otherwise decent movie is that it's unevenful. Carried around by the talented young lead Tom Taylor, "The Dark Tower" cannot rise above its soon-to-be-forgotten summer flick status due to the different universes Elba and McConaughey seem to be playing in.
