I would catch some flack for this, but I actually don't mind this movie. Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey are great as Roland and The Man in Black. However, the movie suffers from trying to be better than the book by combining many elements from different parts of each book instead of developing storyline storyline throughout different movies.
