What do Ron Howard, Mathew McConaughey and Idris Elba all have in common? They have all done stellar work in film. Even the director and screen playwright was responsible for the wonderful "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
" So then they all got together for their collective career lows in The Dark Tower. This is a poorly conceived, drearily shot and emotionally vapid attempt at story telling. I half imagine Steven King's reaction to this boring piece of schlock being, "Wait, what? Is THAT what you got from my book?".
