It would've been more fulfilling to have another 10 years without a movie adaptation of The Dark Tower than having this one is. It is pretty apparent that of all the people who wrote the script and were in charge of casting, not a single one has picked up one of the books.
It has nothing to do with The Dark Tower, even if they claim it's set in the same universe. Change the character names and it might actually be good.
Get the books or audiobooks instead.
