Review of The Dark Tower (2017) by K L — 19 Aug 2017
I've heard the nay sayers...but I loved it. Yes, I have read all the books and all the spin-off books and short stories as well. As a reader, you must understand that this is the wheel of Ka restarting and going in another direction.
Similar events happen, but not exactly the same as the first time around. I liked the elements that were brought in from the "world" of the books, even though they were not quite the same as the King world, for example the breakers.
For me, it was just great to see a new take on the characters I love. I really hope for a sequel with Eddie and Susannah. There were some faults with it, I will admit, but that is Hollywood. All in all, it was way cool to see a new vision of Mid-World with a new version of Roland and Jake.
