What a waste of potential! I'm not a huge fan of Stephen King but I did enjoy The Dark Tower series. By mashing the series into one film and employing the seen-through-the-eyes-of-an-adolescent trope, Akiva Goldsman (*cough*hack*cough*) and crew have taken what could've been a multi-part epic and turned it into a slightly darker Neverending Story.
