I have read the Dark Tower books. I am a big SK fan. I loved this movie. If it had been called Dark Tower 1, or The Gunslinger, I would not have - but it was not. It was a fun movie with my favorite characters telling some of the stories from Mid World.
If this movie was not attached to the series and was simply a sci-fi flick, it would have been rather much higher.
