Would like to preface this review with fact that I was completely unaware of the Dark Tower books. The movie was certainly not the best movie I've ever seen, but it's not as bad as some reviews indicate.
Valerian, IMO, was far worse. It was a little choppy and could have used some backstory. The reported issues in production didn't help it, but I was entertained. The concept is interesting and I look forward to it's next incarnation.
