This is a sequel to the books not the first book and not all the books crammed into 90 mins. This movie is the catalyst to launching the Stephen King universe. It's fast paced and exciting. Easter eggs all over for King fans and Tower Junkies alike.
The Constant Reader might be a little disappointed with how much was left out, but there are more movies and tv series to come.
