Standing alone as a movie, it was OK. But, fans of the book series will be sadly disappointed. The movie stripped away the very heart of the novels, cramming barely recognizable tidbits from the books into one movie and veering away from the best parts, settling for sub par visual effects.
Sigh, I had high hopes for this. They were not met. hard to believe Stephen King collaborated on this at all.
