Is this a true adaptation of the Dark Tower? No. Is it a movie filmed in the spirit of the Gunslinger? Hells yes! From someone who has loved the story for the last 20 years, this movie is worth watching. More than that, we need it to make $160 million so that the tv show can be made! So go see it in the theater and let's get that show!!
Not really a 5 star movie, but a solid 3.5-4. I rated it a 5 to combate the "critics" ratings.
